WHY THIS COURSE?

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a highly heterogeneous autoimmune disease requiring expert, multidisciplinary care. This APLAR short course provides a structured learning pathway covering 12 essential clinical topics, integrating pathophysiology, diagnosis, management, and multidisciplinary coordination, delivered by leading international SLE experts. The course aims to enhance early diagnosis, improve patient care, and empower clinicians across the Asia-Pacific region with
evidence-based knowledge and practical strategies.

COURSE OBJECTIVES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES 

1. Understand SLE pathophysiology, epidemiology, and clinical heterogeneity.
2. Strengthen skills in early diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and use of SLE classification criteria.
