SUMMARY:Vasculitis Foundation Course 2024
DESCRIPTION:Structure of the course\nThe number of modules is 9 and each module consists of 1 or 2 lectures. Total number of the lectures will be 14.\nEach lecture takes 60 to 90 minutes including 10 to 15 min Quiz and 10 to 15 min Q&A to facilitate active learning process.\nQ&A session will also be done by email to support those who are not fully skilled in speaking English and avoid the time constraints of the lecturers.\nCase discussion is active learning in which moderators invite a young faculty to present a case, usually up to 10 minutes, followed by a 20–30 minutes Q&A with our audience focusing on the case. Then we will have 1 to 2 invited speakers to give a 15-20 minutes review of learning points of the case, so our audience can learn more in addition to the case itself.\nCourse Objectives and learning Outcomes\nTo suit a level of knowledge appropriate for the final years of training as a rheumatologist\nTo train all doctors involved in care of vasculitis illnesses with basic minimum skills and knowledge to ensure optimum and safe initial care before referring to a fully trained rheumatologist, if that need arises in certain resource limited set ups.\nTarget audience\nNumber of participants: Up to 200 per course\nTrainees in rheumatology are the primary target, and physicians, general practitioners, family physicians and acute care doctors involved in care of vasculitis in daily practice are also welcomed.\nDetail: here ( https://aplar.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Vasculitis-Foundation-Course-Flyer-Rev.pdf )\nRegistration: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5YGn7P76Qmm47PVHZiIbiA#/registration )\nSession 1: Introduction of the course, epidemiology and general approach to vasculitis – 17 Feb 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/4qAkkasgYbAaUlFVjt85zyBvuWcgepptoKNIAZpknUyMkk3Jr3CoqzRqLd_fKCt5.m6_yDNCzkHTuCy9W )\nSession 2: Genetics and pathology of vasculitis – 02 March 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/MqYBDPTPwbpZAoHOl4o2oTllmJP4Tles1YuukJSyNpLIdkByhljUtMQHJsd2mjLw.5FYuAOEPA7v3rTq6 )\nSession 3: Genetics and pathology of vasculitis (cont.) – 23rd March 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/jYhs838qpj65NtYUV90W5GXCHbTZdy91NlRo9ijthmKFjLLA_vR5uXrPCLCeuQAi.un2vtMnw2CLn9vOf?startTime=1711180786000 )\nSession 4: Large-Vessel Vasculitis – 4th May 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/8g22QOLJg3PlC-FzenxvNv_KFWpnaSpnr29fWhhjOpYggUystYWGF3HmnGkKQIa9.w10pYbe04SkQiypE?startTime=1714809576000 )\nSession 5: Large Vessel Vasculitis : Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) – 01 June 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/sUva97qeWAM-BiTiGTe9wpi88P1FRunTTr_UhTX7oOJvt6YoH47U15tWGDemvmm0.i7Gcd2rxwcC3FsU7?startTime=1717228821000 )\nSession 6: Case Discussion of Large-Vessel Vasculitis – 22 June 2024\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/vWNSi8zfoSWPDsNBLx9Zt72Uv8HAE3atDDS1GD9sUXdBNx07Hu9lAadOFhMOwZ7Y.gi36nE3dGqLES4oH )\nSession 7: Medium-Vessel Vasculitis (Kawasaki DiseaseL\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/jlxsobfyZedcQdLdHUhd6xR3tezvBdv0o8LSXuMqlUAKzRcLMxQ41jPswTXprYC_.3mPWXnIIzqSTnGZW )\nSession 8: Medium–vessel vasculitis\nPolyarteritis Nodosa (PAN)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/3sjL-0eQ6RqytKkEd9S-OFUUkol2cUGTMI7ftsAAOIkBX4QDUAEcYKB-P40UmnAc.QN8XKdHWt0CdieAO )\nSession 9:Small–vessel and variable–vessel vasculitis  (MPA/GPA)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/aa5Z_3V46yn8ZsjU28LoqefJ9X4xq19N6DJoWnk2MLT1XW1bFhm1ErfpSCzbCkBW.iIBgr9Zeo0eZoMaB )\nSession 10: Small–Vessel and Variable–Vessel Vasculitis (EGPA and Anti-GBM Disease)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/component-page?hasValidToken=false&clusterId=us06&action=play&filePlayId=&componentName=recording-register&meetingId=P44sWB0auelbhUgj2Q6CVT66bBaSEa69TItLZ-Tbh8IW7H4vzOjyfb_yx6Jyy6Mt.DkBrCqM7WDFkk581&originRequestUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fus06web.zoom.us%2Frec%2Fshare%2FijiwAsC5k4opnL87EgWvKpdveu-EJnB3b6bdZJN-1JnOQmqv6l1rVBlR0CIbyOe4.lLeo_9iVZxI7WyZ6 )\nProf Shinya Kaname’s lecture recording: here ( https://youtu.be/rsEMX1WA03w )\nSession 11: Small–Vessel and Variable–Vessel Vasculitis – Behcet’s Disease (BD)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/ZhEwAIzX7izBCQElHxFOrEByb-jmn5py_GVNpVJKbEovdYMh1_UOjRhXshrWpXZ_.SdZaDwKAls4NxDBG?startTime=1726300777000 )\nSession 12: Imaging of Vasculitis\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/Iibrgw-7OXxRFwkPoD8FNUBm41H1cU2AWbbFy4BOn5KkOx8ohL1TmcQ-UFtXPDe6.O97Fz-vGD9HiSK_S?startTime=1726905616000 )\nSession 13: Case Discussion of Medium and Small–Vessel Vasculitis (MVV and SVV)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/e2oj6qs3ArLmWzDpTbZ6QBeqJBguwGK3FwCNnsg0qUmzamqjj_dvMYiHANPSiLTf.IzvFqYaV6GmKcCOF?startTime=1728115126000 )\nSession 14: Monogenic Vasculitis (Deficiency of Adenosine Deaminase 2, VEXAS Syndrome, and Other Monogenic Vasculitis)\nRecording: here ( https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/9OK2zMl_aJIOuPG7SkeP_lmR91TmCqkWY4U0riZZCC8PHF9HVSg2TOiU6Vyx1IHk.81wcV2TCSDll9fVg?startTime=1729324821000 )\n \n\n\n\n
